Welcome to Westminster Christian Academy's PTF Organization!

Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year!

WCA's Parent Teacher Friends Organization (PTF) is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to supporting the school, enriching our children's education and strengthening our sense of community.  It is also responsible for providing volunteer and financial support to teachers and administrators and raising funds to support these activities.

We continue to have many activities planned throughout the year and hope that you can join us as we support our school and teachers!  Please look through the entire website for information regarding events, meetings, and volunteer opportunities.  Our Organization continues to be successful with people like you!

If you have questions or would like to know more about how you can get involved, please email us at ptf@wca-hsv.org.

PTF Donates to WCA Disaster Relief
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the recent tornado victims in Alabama.  Unfortunately, some of our school families were left with destruction and devastation.  We know that God has a plan for us as He tells us in Jeremiah 29:11.  We are also promised that He plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future.  Knowing this and faithfully following God's will, the PTF Board has decided to donate $4000 to the WCA disaster relief fund set up for our WCA families affected by the tornadoes.  We hope that you will join us in praying for these families that their lives will be restored quickly.

WHOSE CHILD IS THIS?
Author Unknown

"Whose child is this?" I asked one day
Seeing a little one out at play
"Mine", said the parent with a tender smile
"Mine to keep a little while
To bathe his hands and comb his hair
To tell him what he is to wear
To prepare him that he may always be good
And each day do the things he should"

"Whose child is this?" I asked again
As the door opened and someone came in
"Mine", said the teacher with the same tender smile
"Mine, to keep just for a little while
To teach him how to be gentle and kind
To train and direct his dear little mind
To help him live by every rule
And get the best he can from school"

"Whose child is this?" I ask once more
Just as the little one entered the door
"Ours" said the parent and the teacher as they smiled
And each took the hand of the little child
"Ours to love and train together
Ours this blessed task forever."
